Liam Payne, The former singer of One Direction was found dead outside a hotel in Buenos Aires. On Wednesday evening, everyone was shocked as the singer was reported to have fallen from his balcony.
According to the Police, it was reported that the Liam Payne was staying at Casa Sur Hotel in the trendy Palermo neighborhood when he fell from his third-floor room balcony on Wednesday.
Payne sustained “extremely serious injuries” and was declared dead on the spot.
According to the local media in Argentina, Liam Payne visited Buenos Aires to attend the concert of Niall Horan, his former One Direction bandmate.
On 16 October, Police were called to the hotel after reports of “an aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol”.
Pablo Policicchio, the spokesperson for the Security Ministry of the Buenos Aires municipality in a statement to the Associated Press, said Police were called to the hotel for a report “of an aggressive man who may have been influenced under the effects of drugs and alcohol”.
Policicchio told the news agency that the singer Liam Payne “had thrown himself from the balcony of his room”. The police found items like whiskey, a lighter, and a mobile upon investigating the area where Payne fell. Medication was too found in his room including Clonazepam, as well as over-the-counter medications.
Evidence and Fingerprints have been collected, and the room’s balcony is inspected for access to it.
Just hours before the incident, a post was made on Snapchat by Liam Payne, stating: “It’s a lovely day here in Argentina,” but the video had been taken earlier in the week when the time was spent with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy.
