Keeping up with the expectations, the film managed to secure a whopping Rs 43.5 crore on Friday, followed by a successful weekend of over Rs 120 crore, despite tough competition from another big movie, i.e., Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit. For your information, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also managed to collect Rs 106 Crores in its opening weekend.
Singham Again Collection Till NowÂ
‘Singham Again‘ collected Rs 42.5 crore on Saturday, which was well within expectation because, on Friday and Saturday, the Diwali festive feel was still on. The Saturday night numbers too are good, as there was a holiday on Sunday.Â
However, the numbers on Sunday were less as Diwali feel was existing on Friday-Saturday. People also generally don’t like late-night shows on Sunday as they need to get back to work on the very next day. So, it witnessed a huge decline in the business on Day 3 and collected Rs 35 crore, a decent amount nonetheless. As per 9xflix com, the 3-day collection of the movie now stands at Rs 120 crore.
Singham Again Review: Positive & Negative
See, a movie can’t have all the positives or negatives, it has a mix of both. Similarly, Singham Again also has its Pros and Cons, which we have discussed below:
Talking about the positive side – The movie has powerful action, making it ideal for all the action movie lovers. The unique blend of intense action with cultural reference to Ramayana. The cinematography is top-notch, thus elevating the visual experience. Reprising his role as Bajirao Singha, Ajay Devgn brings back his signature swag, while Ranveer Singh steals the show with his comedic acting. Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Akshay Kumar all deliver performances in their limited capacities.Â
Moreover, Kareena Kapoor Khan shines as Avni, and Arjun Kapoor will surely surprise the critics and steal the show from the film. The movie is boldly entertaining, with an abundance of action and laughter, and the post-credit scene is full of excitement
Talking about the negative side – The movie didn’t have any suspense as everything was already clear by watching the trailer. The trailer was significantly big and the entry of the actors was already put in there, hence, there were no whistles on any of the entries. Secondly, the first half was quite slow compared to the energetic and thrilling second half.
The concept of linking a story with the holy Ramayana would be very new, yet the implementation goes haywire. It takes too long to enact the thrills we came here to watch.
Singham Again Review: The Terrific Second Half is Worth the Ticket PriceÂ
Well, according to 9xflix com review, Singham Again has an amazing second half, followed by the elements of comedy and humor by Ranveer Singh. But, it lacks and suffers from a chaotic first half. Simply put, the movie’s second half matches the energy, while the first half feels like a slow grind. The fifth installment of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, Singham Again relies heavily on the epic Ramayana, giving it a grind. Additionally, the action, cinematic shots, and the catch-up of the storyline, followed by a brilliant performance of Arjun Kapoor as Danger Lanka, aka Zubair Hafeez, and the cameo of Salman Khan as Chulbul Singham, was the cherry on the top, Â
Singham Again Review: The Story
In this action-packed film, Zubair Hafeez (Arjun Kapoor), aka Danger Lanka embarks on a mission to avenge the murder of relatives by taking hostage of Avni Bajirao Singham (Kareena Kapoor Khan). As she is taken to Sri Lanka, Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) seeks the assistance of his fellow officers, including Shakti Shetty (Deepika Padukone), and ACP Satya (Tiger Shroff), to bring her back. After failed attempts and numerous shootouts, Sangram Bhalerao (Ranveer Singh), aka Simmba, and Veer Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar) join the mission. Eventually, Danger Lanka is defeated and Avni is saved.
Let us tell you, this movie is linked to Ramayana, where Ajay Devgn plays the role of Ram, Kareena Kapoor Khan plays Sita, Ranveer Singh plays Hanuman, and Arjun Kapoor plays Ravana.
