The popular OTT series Panchayat is yet again in the news for its fourth season. Fans are excitedly waiting following the launch of the third season earlier this year, leading to the addition of a new franchise to the series. Panchayat 4 started filming on October 25, 2024.
Panchayat 4 Returning Cast
The popular series is set in the fictional village of Phulera, located in Uttar Pradesh. The story unfolds with the primary character, Abhishek Tripathi (popularly known as Sachiv ji), played by Jitendra Kumar, facing the village’s and villagers’ mundane challenges. Other significant casts include Neena Gupta as Manju Devi and Raghubir Yadav as Brij Bhushan Dubey (Pradhan Pati).
Fans will also encounter Faisal Malik (Prahlad), Chandan Roy (Vikas Shukla), Sanvikaa (Rinki), Durgesh Kumar (Bhushan), Ashok Pathak (Binod), and Sunita Rajwar (Kranti Devi). Interestingly, Pankaj Jha, who played the crafty MLA, is anticipated to play a big part in the upcoming season.

Panchayat Season 4 Release Date
Season 1 was released on April 3, 2020, Season 2 on May 20, 2022, and Season 3 was scheduled for 2024. The show consistently followed a two-year interval between seasons.
Panchayat Season 4 will likely debut in the summer of 2026 with this trend, but Prime Video has not yet provided an official confirmation. According to a source, The shoot has just started, so, it’s too early to predict the OTT release date for Panchayat 4.”
The first ever best online series (OTT) prize at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) was won by Panchayat, showcasing its continued popularity with critics.
